The Salisbury Police Department will be sponsoring a free training class to Salisbury residents who are over the age of 21 and who are considering applying for a new LTC or an FID license.
The training will be conducted by Sgt. Steven Sforza, and will consist of (4) hour classroom work consisting of basic knowledge, transport, use, and storage of handguns. Both a handgun practical and written exam is required for completion.
It is now necessary to receive certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A sign up form will be provided on the department website. No student will be accepted into the class without first receiving confirmation from Sgt. Sforza prior to the class date.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion which will enable them to apply for a new LTC or FID.
Seats are limited to 20 students and the class will be held at the Salisbury Town Hall 5 Beach Road Salisbury.
Completed forms can be dropped off at the Police Station, faxed to us at 978-462-7968 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
